Donate!

The Fairfield Heritage Trail Association is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt charitable community organization.  In most cases, donations to FHTA are tax-deductible, but you'll need to check with your tax advisor to find out if they are for your situation.

We accept donations via PayPal. PayPal will send you a confirmation receipt for your records. If you donate directly, FHTA will be happy to send you a receipt.

Previous donations have supplied matching funds for grant money to build sections of the trail, for beautification and signage, and for specific purposes.  Some donors supplied land for the trail.  Jim and Jane Walter donated the McCleery-Walter covered bridge!  Others have helped pay for printing brochures and the general operation of FHTA.  By the way, all officers and trustees of FHTA are volunteers, and receive no compensation for their work with the group.

Whatever the reason, you can be assured that your donation will help further the cause of developing a comprehensive trail system in Fairfield County.
